$500,000 Settlement – Sexual Abuse

Our 31-year-old female plaintiff, formerly an employee of the Village of McCook, alleged that she was physically and sexually battered by a vendor for McCook while at an event that was related to her employment, and that the Village and its agents retaliated against her after she reported the abuse--forcing her to leave her position. She sought compensation for lost income and emotional distress.
