Romanucci & Blandin promotes Sarah E. King and Elise Blandin as Associate Attorneys

CHICAGO, IL – Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a leading personal injury and civil trial practice law firm principally based in Chicago, has proudly appointed Sarah E. King and Elise Blandin as Associate Attorneys. Prior to this new role, both have served as law clerks for the firm where they each contributed to significant cases concerning sexual abuse, police misconduct, medical malpractice and nursing home negligence.

Sarah clerked for both Antonio Romanucci and Stephan Blandin at the firm. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Psychology and Certificate in Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies. While there, she interned with the University's Office of Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Education. She graduated from DePaul University College of Law where she was an Associate Editor of the DePaul Law Review, and volunteered with the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic and Constitutional Rights Foundation. She is currently a Special Project Coordinator with the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, and is on the Associate Board of Resilience, a Chicago-based group that empowers survivors of sexual violence. She is also the founder of the Chicago Law Lean In Circle.

Elise graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Psychology. While there, she helped develop a program called The Girls Advocacy Project, which provided emergency intervention services to support at-risk youth in the Champaign-Urbana community. She was also a teaching assistant when the program later became a course at the University. She graduated from the DePaul University College of Law. She clerked at another personal injury firm, for Judge O'Hara at Law Division and Justice Lavin at the Illinois Appellate Court first district while in law school. She has been clerking for Stephan Blandin since 2019, and has been a long-time volunteer at a residential facility for mentally disabled adults. Elise has been committed to a career as an attorney since she was in kindergarten, and is dedicated to helping those who have suffered injustice in their lives.
