Antonio Romanucci Discusses how IG report finds Chicago ‘failed’ in response to Floyd protests

Antonio Romanucci, co-counsel for Floyd’s family, discusses the report with FOX 32 Chicago, saying the report is not a surprise and is a direct result of the Chicago Police Department’s outdated policies. Romanucci emphasizes that police are not trained and haven’t been trained appropriately because of these outdated policies – resulting in the use of excessive force. Furthermore, some of the officers failed to report use of force, failed to use body cameras, and some even covered up their badges and name plates during the protests.
