Mirena Fontana

Mirena Fontana is a Senior Paralegal to Founding Partner Antonio M. Romanucci and his team of attorneys. She has over a decade of experience in the legal profession and has successfully assisted the firm in obtaining dozens of verdicts & settlements for its clients.

In her role as a Senior Paralegal, Mirena advocates for survivors of negligence, abuse, wrongful death arising from police misconduct, civil rights actions, sexual abuse and assault, medical malpractice and mass torts & class actions. Her skills and expertise have aided in obtaining justice for the individuals, families, and estates of hundreds of Romanucci & Blandin clients. Mirena has worked on many notable cases including the George Floyd settlement with the city of Minneapolis, a 2019 Chicago police chase that resulted in a fatal collision with an uninvolved family, and various other confidential and complex cases where millions of dollars were recovered for clients.

In September 2020, Mirena was nominated by Roosevelt University and honored by the American Bar Association in a Standing Committee Recognition for her success in the Paralegal field. To give back, Mirena frequently volunteers and appears as a guest speaker and panel member for various legal organizations, as well as her alma mater Roosevelt University, in Chicago, IL, where she is an Advisory Board Member for their ABA-approved Paralegal Studies Program, as well as a Member of Roosevelt’s Paralegal Alumni Steering Committee.
