Diversity & Inclusion

“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.” -MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.

At our law firm, we are proud to live our passion every day. The work we do bring justice to those who are in their greatest time of need brings us tremendous satisfaction, and we proudly serve and respect all clients, regardless of their race, color, creed, orientation or any other differentiating factor.

We feel it is our differences that make us stronger as an organization and as a people.

Romanucci & Blandin is proud of our team members’ leadership in professional associations and the community on diversity and inclusion. As an example, Partner Bhavani K. Raveendran is a Founding Member and Co-Chair of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a Council Member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Human Rights Section as well as Co-Editor for the group’s newsletter, and is on the Board for the American Association for Justice Minority Caucus, as well as in the group's Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Academy. She presents often to various organizations on implicit bias. Partner Martin D. Gould holds a leadership role in the Racial Justice Coalition of the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section.

We codify our commitment to equality in our work, our office and our communities with the diversity and inclusion credo:

Romanucci & Blandin values a culture of diversity and inclusion, where all feel welcomed, respected, and valued. We support the full embodiment of Constitutional and civil rights in our communities through our work and commit to also fostering a workplace where those values thrive.
