$1,365,000 Settlement – Police Chase

A car driven by our 54-year-old male Plaintiff was hit head-on at 55th and Kedzie in Chicago, IL, by a vehicle operated by an uninsured individual who was fleeing Chicago Police at high speed after the officers tried to stop him for a traffic violation.

The Plaintiff's trauma included a fractured left calcaneus and severe right leg and foot injuries, leaving him using a cane when walking and with an abnormal gait. Allegedly, the officers engaged in the pursuit in violation of standing orders.
