$525,000 Settlement – Medical Malpractice

A 56-year-old female underwent micro discectomy surgery at Loyola University Medical Center to address an L2-L3 herniation. During the procedure, the plaintiff’s peroneal nerve was injured--allegedly due to improper positioning--and she sustained an undiagnosed intraoperative CSF leak.
