Romanucci & Blandin, LLC Welcomes Baizer Kolar Neiman P.C. to the Firm

April 1, 2019

Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a leading personal injury and civil trial practice law firm in Chicago, today announced it is welcoming Highland Park-based firm Baizer Kolar Neiman P.C. (BKN) to the team. Known for its aggressive representation of victims of catastrophic personal injuries, BKN concentrated its practice in wrongful death, medical malpractice, automobile accidents and traumatic brain injury matters.

BKN founder Bob Baizer and partners Joe Kolar and David Neiman will join Romanucci & Blandin, bringing with them a proven track record of relentless client representation and record-setting verdicts and settlements. These notable results include a $29.8 million birth injury verdict for a child who suffered a brain injury from an unnecessary delay in his delivery, and a $25 million medical negligence verdict for the wrongful death of a 43-year-old woman for failure to identify and remove an ovarian mass, ultimately leading to a terminal cancer diagnosis.

“We are extremely confident that the team at Baizer Kolar Neiman will be incredible assets for our growing firm,” said Antonio M. Romanucci, founding partner of Romanucci & Blandin. “Each of them brings a unique set of skills and legal experience that will only strengthen our service to clients and our unparalleled success in the courtroom on behalf of individuals and families who need a proven fighter on their side.”

“This an exciting next chapter for our firm as we embark on our 21st year in business,” added Stephan D. Blandin, founding partner of Romanucci & Blandin. “With 17 incredibly talented attorneys on our team, we will continue to fight for our clients all over the country and make real, meaningful policy change moving forward.”

Since its start as a firm over 20 years ago, Romanucci & Blandin has won more than $500 million in settlements and verdicts for their clients, with dozens of those cases in excess of $1 million, including a record-breaking $44.7 million verdict on behalf of a young man left bound to a wheelchair and with permanent brain damage following a gunshot wound to the head, an unprecedented $38.75 million settlement of a class action lawsuit against the City of Chicago for its red light camera practices and a $30 million settlement on behalf of a brain injured child.

“We’re honored to join forces with Romanucci & Blandin and look forward to advancing our shared mission to advocate fearlessly and seek justice for people who have been the victims of unthinkable injuries and incidents,” noted Bob Baizer.

Romanucci & Blandin will continue to operate out of its headquarters at 321 N. Clark St., Suite 900 in Chicago, while also having an office in DuPage County.
