Negligence Lawsuit Settled with Major Area Hospital: Lawsuit alleged negligence in Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit. The complaint alleged physicians, nurses, and staff at the facility had failed to provide efforts and standard care reasonably expected for the treatment of the infant son of the plaintiff during and after he was admitted in June 2000, less than 24 hours after his birth.
