$350,000 Settlement – Medical Malpractice

The plaintiff underwent eyelid surgeries in April and October of 2013. During that time, allegedly, the ophthalmologist performing the procedures failed to identify a suture which migrated and scratched the plaintiff’s cornea, resulting in permanent and significant scarring to the cornea, trichiasis, and vision loss.
