$950,000 Settlement – Mental Health Crisis Wrongful Police Shooting Death

In 2015, a City of Roosevelt, UT, police officer responded to a call about a suicidal man with a gun. The 36-year-old male had escaped from a hospital, but had been cornered and was pointing a gun at his own head – never threatening to harm anyone else.
