A settlement was reached of a premises liability lawsuit involving a dog attacking a service professional while he worked in a private residence this Spring. The plaintiff, a 47-year-old electrician on the job in the dog owner’s home in Gurnee, was attacked when the homeowner allowed the pit bull to escape its enclosure, causing significant injuries requiring extensive medical treatment.
