Attorney Antonio Romanucci Reacts to Kim Potter Sentencing on Don Lemon Tonight

Civil rights attorney Antonio Romanucci of Romanucci & Blandin joined CNN’s Don Lemon to share the reaction of Daunte Wright’s family and legal team to the sentencing of former Minnesota police officer Kim Potter. Antonio Romanucci along with Benjamin Crump and Jeff Storms represent the Wright family in civil legal matters. In their statement, the legal team stated that the sentencing comments made by Judge Chu sounded "like a job recommendation" for the former police officer, who was given a two-year prison term, a significant deviation from the guidelines of more than six years for first degree manslaughter. Romanucci emphasized to Lemon that the legal team will continue to fight for justice in the civil system in Daunte’s name.
