Antonio Romanucci testifies before Congressional forum on constitutional violations by federal officials

Founding Partner Antonio M. Romanucci testified about the challenges in pursuing accountability against federal officials for constitutional violations today before a Congressional forum led by House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, Rep. Robin Kelly, and other members of Congress.

“In America, we believe in justice for all, and not for just some. My wherefore clause for this panel is to amend a now archaic statute from the year 1871 to include the right to seek redress against federal law enforcement officers by adding the words “or the United States” to the list of government agencies that we may now seek remedies from,” Tony told the forum.
