ICE and the Rule of Law: AABAR Diversity and Inclusion CLE
Founding Partner Antonio M. Romanucci appeared as a panelist on May 21, 2026, at an event hosted by the Arab American Bar Association of Illinois and moderated by Retired Judge Bill Haddad. The event was part of the bar association’s Diversity & Inclusion Series and was titled “Holding ICE Accountable: Legal Strategies Against ICE Abuse.”
Other panelists included Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and NYU School of Law Professor Alicia Bannon. In the discussion, Tony discussed the firm’s representation of U.S. Citizens in Chicago who had their Constitutional rights violated in their encounters with federal agents in Fall, as well as the case of Renee Good, who was shot and killed by a federal agent in Minneapolis in January.
