Chicago-based law firm takes on case involving Lee's Summit teen's shooting death by deputy

A law firm based out of Chicago announced a civil investigation into the death of a Lee's Summit, Missouri, teenager who was shot and killed by a Lafayette County sheriff's deputy.

Romanucci & Blandin is a national firm that takes on cases involving civil rights, police misconduct, wrongful death and more. Attorneys with the firm will now represent the family of Saveion McConnell, the 19-year-old shot and killed by a deputy May 1.
