Elementary nurse in Arlington Heights under investigation for alleged misuse of students’ prescription drugs

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — An elementary nurse is under investigation in Arlington Heights for the alleged “misuse” of prescription medication intended for students.
A District 25 administrator said they were made aware of an allegation regarding the “potential misuse of prescription medication intended for specific student use.”
The registered nurse works at Westgate Elementary School and has been placed on administrative leave during the investigation by Arlington Heights police.
