Sonya Massey legislation aims to transform Illinois law enforcement hiring process

The bill was named in honor of Sonya Massey, who was fatally shot by former Sangamon County Sheriff's Deputy Sean Grayson. It passed the House and now heads to Gov. JB Pritzker.
