Romanucci & Blandin Opens Investigation Into Allegations of Secret Recording of Patients at a Batavia Chiropractor’s Office

The medical office is Hanson Family Chiropractic in Batavia, IL. The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged the office owner, David Hanson, with recording multiple adults and children in his medical practice.  They say Hanson recorded the patients with hidden cameras in a room used for red light or near-infrared light therapy. The State’s Attorney’s Office says Hanson was also found to be in possession and dissemination of sexual images of children, which is unrelated to the office recordings.  

This case is disturbingly similar to recent allegations of secret video recordings of young female employees in a bathroom of a suburban ice cream shop in Addison, IL. Romanucci & Blandin filed a civil complaint against the Flavor Frenzy ice cream shop and its owner on behalf of 11 female plaintiffs earlier this Fall. That store owner is criminally charged in that case, as well.
