Romanucci & Blandin, LLC Promotes Gina Arquilla DeBoni to Managing Partner
Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a leading personal injury and civil trial practice law firm in Chicago, has proudly appointed Gina Arquilla DeBoni to Managing Partner. Ms. DeBoni joined Romanucci & Blandin in 2010 after having a successful personal injury law firm for six years with another partner.
As one of the few female managing attorneys in the state of Illinois, Gina is responsible for the overall management and quality assurance of the firm’s legal and compliance services within client engagements. She also plays a critical role advocating for the firm’s clients who have suffered from traumatic personal injury, medical malpractice, police misconduct, hazing, sex trafficking, products and premises liability, nursing home negligence, and construction injury cases.
“Gina is an asset to our firm and a passionate advocate of justice for her clients,” said Antonio M. Romanucci, Founding Partner at Romanucci & Blandin. “We are extremely proud to promote her to the position of Managing Partner and know she will continue to see success in this next chapter of her career.”
Gina is very active in her profession and the governmental sphere, devoting her time to advancing legislation that will change the course for her clients, the firm and others in our country moving forward. Last year along with her client, she joined and actively supported a national advocacy effort to seek passage of the Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (SESTA/FOSTA), which was overwhelmingly passed in the U.S. Senate and signed into law by President Donald Trump. DeBoni now has her sights set on ways to create real and meaningful reform around the way ethylene oxide, a level one carcinogen that is being breathed in every day throughout our country, is used and handled moving forward.
Gina has also volunteered her time to several legal, political and philanthropic organizations including: the Illinois State Bar Association, where she served on the Board of Governors and as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division. She also served the American Bar Association House of Delegates and as Past-Chair of the Women’s Advisory Board for U.S. Senator Mark Kirk.
For this work in and out of the office Gina has been named a ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Top Women Layer in Illinois’ by Super Lawyers®, an ‘Emerging Lawyer’ and ‘Leading Lawyer’ by Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s Leading Lawyers Division, ISBA’s ‘Young Lawyer of the Year’ in 2010, one of the National Trial Lawyers Association’s ‘Top 40 under 40’, and one of the ‘Ten Best Attorneys in Illinois’ for the Client Satisfaction Award in 2016-17 by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys.
“Whether it’s in the office, courtroom or beyond, Gina is passionate about advocating for her clients and ensuring that real, institutional policy change can come from the firm’s cases,” added Stephan D. Blandin, Founding Partner at Romanucci & Blandin. “We expect nothing but continued success for her in the future.”
