Romanucci & Blandin releases findings from independent autopsy of Renee Good

MINNEAPOLIS (January 21, 2026) – The law firm of Romanucci & Blandin, which represents the family of Renee Good, is providing information to the American public about preliminary findings from an independent autopsy commissioned at the family’s request, as part of the firm’s ongoing civil investigation into her death. The release of this information is part of the firm’s pledge to continued transparency with the public on this tragedy.

The independent autopsy of Renee Good’s body was performed by a highly respected and credentialed medical pathologist, and the preliminary conclusions include:

• There were three clear gunshot wound paths to Renee’s body
• One gunshot wound struck the left forearm, causing soft tissue hemorrhage
• One gunshot wound traversed the right breast without penetrating major organs
• One gunshot wound entered the left side of her head near the temple and exited the right side of her head
• The breast and left forearm wounds were not immediately life-threatening
• A fourth wound was a graze wound consistent with a firearm injury, but with no penetration

The results of the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy have not yet been released to the family or legal team.
