$3,375,000 Settlement – Load of Steel Workplace Accident Crushed Hand and Wrist
The Plaintiff, a 36-year-old truck driver, was helping to unload steel from his truck at the Alro Steel Co. when his right hand and wrist were crushed by a load of steel after the straps from the crane broke. He underwent six surgeries and developed complex regional pain syndrome, which necessitated the implantation of a spinal cord stimulator for pain control.
