Attorney Antonio Romanucci speaks to ABC Chicago following a guilty plea to sex trafficking in the case of Desiree Robinson, a 16-year-old girl who was murdered after being sold for sex on the website Backpage.com on Christmas Eve of 2016. Romanucci points out that we would not be here today if it was not for the ease of access to websites like Backpage.com where adult sexual predators who take children off the streets can sell them for sex. A civil suit filed by Romanucci & Blandin is still pending.
